
Cold weather season warmed up with whiskey dinners and tastings, showcasing brands from within the Allan S. Goodman spirits portfolio as fall turned into winter. The Inishmor Pub in Colchester hosted guests on Nov. 22, with Old Pulteney Scotch, Whip Saw Rye, Balblair 15 Year and High N Wicked Wild Rover Irish Whiskey with dinner pairings. The Red Stone Pub in Simsbury hosted a Bourbons & Rye tasting for patrons paired with a special menu on Nov. 28 as part of its whiskey club series. Showcased brands included Straight Edge Bourbon Whiskey, Breckenridge Rum Cask Finish, Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey, Old Forester 1897, Joseph Magnus and Vermont Ice Maple Bourbon.
