The Connecticut team from Winebow hosted John Williams of Frog’s Leap Winery for a dinner at Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill in New Haven on March 27. Founded in 1981 on a spot along Mills Creek known as Frog Farm, Frog’s Leap Winery was established by Williams and Larry Turley in Rutherford, Napa Valley, known for creating an acclaimed portfolio of quality Napa Valley wines. Now four decades old, the family-owned winery is passionate about constantly evolving its winemaking, organic farming practices and sustainable business efforts. The Winebow team tasted through a lineup that included the new Rutherford appellation Sauvignon Blanc and a 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon. With Williams at the helm, the intimate event created an education and tasting experience for the sales team.
