New to the state from Davies Family Selections is Lo Lo Wine Co. Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, from founder Ian Davies. Lolo, or “Little One,” is an homage to Davies’ youngest, Lauren, whose “indomitable spirit” inspired the creation of the Red Hills Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon, a bold red wine. Crafted to showcase the richness of fruit from the Red Hills Lake County region of California, the wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, and spends 16 months in 20% new French barrique, producing just 2,000 cases. Winemaker Dawne Sacchetti describes the wine as a “lush Cabernet striking the balance of fruit, spice and just the right touch of oak for a sultry, round finish.” Distributed in Connecticut by Worldwide Wines.
