Vini San Valentino’s Vivi, or “the Wonder Woman wine,” is a white wine from Colli di Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, made from Grechetto grapes.
Worldwide Wines added Italian wine offerings from Vini San Valentino to its portfolio. Standing atop Covignano Hill (or Col Vignano, as it was called centuries ago) at 150 meters above sea level in the province of Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, its vineyards benefit from the nearby sea and its microclimate. Using organic farming methods, the vineyards extend over 17 hectares all in the hills facing south and southwest, with 70% of them cultivating Sangiovese and Rebola and the rest with Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot. Nine different-colored windows located at the heart of San Valentino have become the winery’s symbol reflected on the wine labels. The Vini San Valentino portfolio includes Vivi, or “the Wonder Woman wine,” dedicated to Valeria Vivian, wife of winery founder Roberto Mascarin, who shared with him the realization of the “San Valentino” dream. Other wines include Bacaia Rebola, Bacaia Rosé, Bacaia Sangiovese, Vivian Rosso, Conte di Covignano, Mascarin and Contesse Muchietti.
