Treasury Wine Estates’ red-hot 19 Crimes line has added a Chardonnay, fittingly dubbed “Hard Chard.” As with others in the series, the label features a real criminal who had committed one of 19 crimes that merited exile from Britain to Australia — and the label activates when viewed with the brand’s new Augmented Reality app. The 2016 Hard Chard features stone fruit aromas, toasty oak notes and hints of butterscotch, honey and vanilla.
