Slovenian wine brand Avia welcomes a new canned format for its 100% Pinot Grigio, crafted from grapes grown in the Brda region in the Collio border area. A perfect example of the quality of the fruit being produced from the Collio region, fresh white peach and river stone notes intrigue the nose, with fresh green apple flavors and crisp acids inviting lighter fare in shellfish, grilled seafood, chicken and even a buttery alfredo pasta. Avia wines, from Klet Brda Family Vineyards, have been present in the U.S. market since 1979. The vineyard’s award-winning wines are sustainably produced, 100% varietal, and hand-harvested and vegan-friendly. The versatile 12.5% ABV dry white wine, which is fermented and matured in 100% stainless steel, becomes even more accessible in its new canned format, available in Rhode Island via Mancini Beverage – Rhode Island Distributing division and in Connecticut via Hartley & Parker Limited, Inc.
