Brescome Barton’s Director of Education Ryan Robinson trained as an Educator and Ambassador to the Wines of Rioja by the Consejo de Rioja DOCa. With his final paper accepted, Robinson can now serve in an official capacity to host Rioja Education events in the future on the association’s behalf in Connecticut. He also celebrated passing the accreditation for the WSET Educator Training Program in Sake and is now able to teach WSET Sake courses in Connecticut, teaching Level 1 and Level 3 Sake classes. Robinson adds to his credentials of already holding the following: Advanced Sommelier-CMS, Master Sommelier Candidate, WSET Educator Wines Level 3 and his forthcoming WSET Diploma. In addition to these organizations, he also has completed the Italian Wine Professional – Italian Wine Central, South African Wine Specialist – WOSA and Certified Sherry Specialist – House of Lustau.
