CDI Celebrates a Multitude of New Brands

By December 3, 2020Connecticut, Top News

Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), announced several new brand additions, including new-to-the-portfolio Be Human wines. With a focus on unity, its mission says, “With the recognition that what makes us different, makes us wonderful: can a wine remind us of what’s important in life, and help us all get along? On some small level, we think the answer is yes.” Sourced from the renowned Horse Heaven Hills and Columbia Valley AVA’s, the family of reds and a rosé covers the spectrum from light, crisp and fruity to bold, rich and intensely aromatic. The CDI team also recognized Lodi, California’s Michael David Winery on its winning the Wine Enthusiast American Winery of the Year Wine Star Award, as announced in November. New in spirits, Mr Black Single Origin Ethiopia Coffee Liqueur offers notes of Earl Grey and bergamot, with underlying hints of roasted hazelnuts and zesty orange marmalade on the palate with a long-lasting finish. The brand is working with Project Origin, a charity that supports coffee farms and makes sure that the money goes back into local communities. Also new to CDI is Ceder’s, a distilled nonalcoholic, juniper-led alternative gin that launched in the U.K. in 2018, which just made its official U.S. debut. Ceder’s is crafted from South African botanicals and combined with pristine Swedish water, and is best enjoyed with a simple, premium mixer and varying garnishes. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and has one to two calories per serving with zero sugar.
