The team at Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), collected more than 150 pounds of nonperishable food items to stock up the Sterling House Food Pantry during a Thanksgiving holiday food drive. The Sterling House Resource Connection Program is a comprehensive, basic needs assistance program providing a wide range of services to individuals and families, including food, diapers, pet foods, personal care items and social services support. The program started in 1992 as a small food pantry and now is the largest of its kind in Stratford. In 2018, the food pantry provided more than 55,000 meals to close to 2,000 individuals.
