WHAT: Glyph and Highland Imports will host the first of three sustainability workshops geared towards bartenders and bar owners at Olives & Oil in New Haven on Monday, January 27, 2020. During the workshop, “Bar Waste 101: Reducing and Reusing,” Brendan Bartley, Beverage Director at New York City’s The 18th Room, will provide bartenders with the tools to reduce and reuse the hidden waste, including shipping boxes, packaging, and more, which are often produced while running a bar. An informal hour of cocktails and lite bites will follow the workshop.
