Narragansett’s Coast Guard House, in collaboration with Horizon Beverage Co. of Rhode Island, hosted a wine-pairing dinner featuring the wines of Maison Louis Jadot on April 27. Kobrand Wine & Spirits’ Christian Dalbavie, French Portfolio Specialist, and Shawn Moquin, State Manager, MA & RI, with Britney Lebelle, Wine Team/Manager, Coast Guard House, presented the iconic French wine producer’s history and education to guests, who enjoyed panoramic ocean views and the dinner prepared by Chef Angel Cardona and his culinary team. Wines on the menu included Louis Jadot Premier Cru Chablis, Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc, Volnay Premier Cru Clos de la Barre and Clos Vougeot Grand Cru. Situated on nearly 280 acres of the Côte d’Or’s most prestigious Premier and Grand Cru plots in Burgundy, Maison Louis Jadot was founded by Louis Henry Jadot in 1859. Kobrand’s French portfolio includes Maison Louis Jadot, Taittinger Champagne and Domaine Zind-Humbrecht, among many others.
