
The Connecticut Restaurant Association (CRA) hosted its annual charity golf tournament on June 25 at Lyman Orchards Golf Club in Middlefield. Trade professionals were treated to lunch upon arrival before teeing off to play 18 holes. Approximately 150 golfers took part in the tournament, which supports the Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation and the CRA. Golfers took breaks throughout the day with Fishers Island Lemonade and margaritas featuring Cazadores Tequila and Watermelon Margarita RIPE Bar Juice. After an afternoon on the course, attendees enjoyed cocktails and dinner, along with an awards ceremony. Sponsors included Sysco, Performance Food Group, Datapay Payroll, Powers, Brennan & Griffin, LLC, Rogo Distributors, Brescome Barton, Subway, Tripoint and Gordon Food Service. Industry partners included Connecticut Beverage Journal, Siegel, O’Connor, Cohn Reznick and United Healthcare.
