Gray Whale Gin Founders Jan and Marsh Mokhtari joined the Connecticut Distributors, Inc., team for a June 12 webinar.

Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), and Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits launched Gray Whale Gin during a June 12 webinar. Crafted from California botanicals that celebrate the 12,000-mile Pacific Ocean migratory journey of the California Gray Whale from Baja to Mendocino, the eponymous gin supports Oceana, a charitable organization that protects and restores the world’s oceans, for every bottle sold. The small-batch gin is made with botanicals that are foraged along the Pacific coastline migratory path of the whale. Founders Marsh and Jan Mokhtari, who met in a bar in Chicago 20 years ago and started Golden State Distillery together in 2016, joined the entire CDI and Deutsch teams for a virtual educational call as part of CDI’s acquisition of the brand.
