The Coast Guard House Restaurant in Narragansett welcomed teams from Guinness and Mancini Beverage – C&C Distributors division for a beer-pairing dinner on March 31, a themed event tying the iconic Irish brew brand to earlier St. Patrick’s Day celebrations across the state. Guest host Michael Reardon, Guinness Brewery Ambassador, led guests through a tasting of the Guinness lineup, which included Harp Lager, Smithwick’s Red Ale, Guinness Stout Draft, Guinness Extra Stout and Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. Each was paired with a dish from a five-course meal prepared by the Coast Guard House cuisine team, offering traditional Irish dishes such as boxty, lamb chops, pork sausage, corned beef and an Irish soda shortcake dessert.
