The United States Bartender’s Guild Connecticut chapter is offering free cocktails from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., live music, gift card raffle and more at The Shamrock Bar &Grille, 210 Meadow St, Waterbury.
All the money raised at his event will go towards a scholarship fund in the name of Sandy Hook victim Rachel Davino. Dimitrios Zahariadis, vice president of the USBG Connecticut chapter, is organizing the benefit at the bar where he works, Shamrock’s in Waterbury, only 15 minutes from Sandy Hook Elementary School, where Davino was a teacher.
All tips will be donated. There’s no door charge, but people can make donations as they come in.
