The Society of Wine Educators announced the appointment of Edward Korry, MA, CHE, CSS, CWE, as the new President of the Society, as of June 1, 2014. Professor Korry is the Chair of the Beverage and Dining Service Department at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. “It is an exceptional honor and opportunity for me to lead the Society of Wine Educators,” said Korry. “I am excited about helping to realize our goal of making the Society of Wine Educators a pre-eminent educational society for wine and spirits for the beverage and hospitality industries worldwide.”
