By September 2, 2020Connecticut, Top News

Mina Distributors added several new Greek wines to its portfolio, including Tiblalexis Estate Rosé Genus and Tiblalexis Estate Roditis Savatiano, each crafted by the Tiblalexis family of winemakers. The Tiblalexis Estate team has been cultivating the Roditis Savatiano (PDO) variety for 50 years in Mikrothives, where the ancient Fthiotidos Thebes were once located. The hilly areas where the vineyard is located face the shores of the Pagasetic Gulf, characterized by excellent ecological conditions for the cultivation of wine varieties, including Assyrtiko, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Sirah, Xinomavro and Malagousia. New from Muses Estate is Amuse Blanc, a fresh Malagousia, with an aromatic profile intense with citrus and exotic fruits. The family-run estate is located on the slopes of the Valley of the Muses, at the foot of Mount Helicon, and is part of the greater vineyard of Viotia. Porto Carras Chateau Le Grand Blanc and Porto Carras Blanc de Blanc are also newly offered white wines. Domaine Porto Carras is the largest organic Greek vineyard, with a total area of 500 hectares from the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Meliton Slopes.
