Narragansett Brewing Company released Narragansett Light in 12 .oz 12-packs. The light version of its original namesake beer is brewed with six row malt, seedless hops and the company’s proprietary lager strain. Narragansett Light is 3.8% in alcohol and 10 IBUs. Narragansett Light received a bronze medal during the 2010 World Beer Championship and a silver medal during the 2011 World Beer Championship, as well as a bronze medal at the Annual Great International Beer and Cider Competition in Providence in 2012. The 12-pack is now available year round in Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts and Connecticut.
