Guests tasted rare bourbon selections, including Russell’s Reserve 2003 Bourbon, Old Forester 150th Anniversary Bourbon Batch 3, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 15 Years Old and Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 Years Old.

Oak Haven Table & Bar hosted the latest in its rare bourbon dinner series with a pairing event on Jan. 20-21. The socially distanced event took place on two separate nights to allow for safe dining in small groups. Chef Kevin Wolcott created a five-course dinner to be paired with each whiskey, which included pours from limited-release bottles of Old Forester 150th Anniversary Bourbon Batch 3, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 15 Years Old, Russell’s Reserve 2003 Bourbon and Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 Years Old. Guests enjoyed raffles for prizes of rare selections along with reduced price pours from Oak Haven’s rare bourbon shelf after the meal.
