WHAT: Hartford’s Taste of The Nation fundraiser to benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign will take place at Hartford’s Goodwin Hotel on September 30, 2018. Guests at the annual culinary event will have a chance to walk around and sample gourmet cuisine and libations from the area’s top chefs, sommeliers and mixologists with cooking demonstrations from more than ten “Cheftestants” from the TV show Top Chef. Internationally recognized French Chef, television personality and author Jacques Pépin will sign books for guests. The event will be led by Chef Chair Tyler Anderson, Chef/Owner of Millwright’s Restaurant, The Cook and The Bear, and Porrón&Piña and Event Co-Chair Angela Pitrone of Deloitte.
