By March 4, 2020Connecticut, Top News

The St. George Spirits line was featured at an education and bartending competition event at Waterbury’s Highland Brass Co. on January 29. Bryan Bartell, Division Vice President of Sales, Northeast, St. George Spirits, led trade guests through a tasting and education session. Founded in 1982, California-based St. George Spirits is known as one of the first craft distilleries in the U.S. and now offers a wide range of artisanal small-batch spirits and liqueurs. Bartenders were then challenged to create cocktails using St. George Spirits Breaking & Entering American Whiskey and St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur. Judges Bryan Bartell; Matt Sedlak, Highland Brass Co.; and Dan Rek, Elm City Social, chose three winners: Third-place winner Kory Loga, Bella’Gio; Second-place winner Molly Ogilvie, The Owl Shop; and First-place winner Sara Dodge, Conspiracy.
