4 Eat & Drink offers a relaxed, speakeasy-style atmosphere, plush formal table seating and “cozier” couch and table options. Wines are available by the glass, quartino and bottle, along with 10 draft lines featuring seven rotating handles and three staples to the bar. Tapas and small plates pair with a creative cocktail list and bourbon flights.

Recipe: Build in a shaker

  • 3-4 Blackberries
  • 4-6 Mint leaves
  • .75 oz. Simple syrup
  • .75 oz. Fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 oz. Blue Haven Blueberry Gin
  • Champagne

The Hill-Stead

First, muddle blackberries, mint leaves, simple syrup and lemon juice. Add elderflower liqueur and Blue Haven Blueberry Gin. Add ice and shake. Strain drink into a glass, add fresh ice and top with champagne. Garnish with blackberries and a mint leaf.

“This is one of our signature cocktails. When we were under construction, I Googled the town of Farmington and The Hill-Stead Museum was something that came up,” said General Manager Chrissy Pare. “I was just playing around with flavors … I knew I wanted to create something with gin and I love using elderflower.”
