Townhouse
35 Church Street
Greenwich, CT

Opened in February 2020, Greenwich’s Townhouse is a new partnership between Restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Executive Chef and Partner Stephen Lewandowski, and Director of Operations Dana Cifone. Guests will find unique New American cuisine, influenced by Mediterranean and Asian flavors and cooking techniques. Offering al fresco dining, rain or shine, on a skylit patio or under an all-weather tented garden, beverages include an eclectic variety of beer, house-made sangrias and sodas, imported or domestic wines, and seasonal, craft cocktails created by Cifone. The venue’s signature offering, the Townhouse, complements the unexpected mélange of flavors found on Lewandowski’s menu, with tequila as its base spirit and accented with the ginger zing of Domaine de Canton.

Director of Operations: Dana Cifone

Cocktail: Townhouse

Ingredients:

» 2 oz. Casamigos Blanco Tequila
» .5 oz. Domaine de Canton
» .5 oz. Lime juice
» 1 oz. Grapefruit juice
» 1 Grapefruit slice
» 1 oz. Club soda
» Garnish: Grapefruit and lime slices

Method: In a martini shaker, lightly muddle grapefruit slice, lime juice and Domaine de Canton. Fill with ice and add Casamigos Tequila and grapefruit juice. Shake well. Fill a highball glass with ice, strain and top off with club soda. Garnish with grapefruit and lime slices.

“When creating the cocktail list, I knew I wanted our namesake cocktail to be a continuous drink on the list throughout the year – withstanding seasonal menu changes,” Cifone said. “More important than its cocktail-list longevity, it was a drink that really needed to complement Chef Stephen’s cuisine. The hint of ginger from the Domaine de Canton really accompanies the flavors from the worldly portfolio of ingredients Stephen uses in all of his dishes.”
