Sammy’s Buy-Rite Liquors, in collaboration with the Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department, hosted the annual Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department Beer and Wine Tasting at the William J. Pitkin Community Center in Wethersfield on March 23. Representatives from local distributors and suppliers, along with Fire Department volunteers, poured a variety of fine wine, spirits and craft beer selections for guests. A portion of the proceeds benefited the Wethersfield Volunteer Firefighter’s Association Scholarship Fund.
