The Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant—at the corner of Thames Street and Brick Alley—is somewhat of a landmark in historic downtown Newport, R.I. With a fi replace and cozy pub atmosphere, Brick Alley has an extensive cocktail menu, and their wine list features over 250 different vintages. They’ve received a Wine Spectator Award for Excellence.

Drink name: Blackberry Sangria

Recipe:S tart with a splash of St-Germain Elderfl ower liqueur, a shot of blackberry puree, and a splash of club soda. Shake in a glass. Top it off with the base— Jaume Serra Cristalino Brut Cava champagne. Sprinkle with fresh blackberries

“It’s our most popular drink right now,” said Altenerand. “It tastes like sparkling blackberries.”
