In partnership with Santa Margherita Wines and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Program, Horizon Beverage Co. of Rhode Island donated $10,000 to the RI Hospitality Employee Relief Fund. The fund provides Rhode Island Hospitality Association member food service, lodging and tourism employees who have been laid off due to COVID-19 much-needed local financial assistance. Nationally, Santa Margherita Wines has donated $75,000 to Meals on Wheels America and $75,000 to the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, providing immediate financial assistance to 3 million displaced restaurant workers affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Santa Margherita Wines include Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio, Chianti Classico Riserva, Prosecco, Prosecco Superiore and Sparkling Rosé, among Rhode Island offerings.
